Welcome to the October Food and Drink BUZZ
We all love our food. There is no doubting it. But I reckon, in the last six months, our love of food has broadened to become a deep love of culinary possibilities. Our taste buds are hungry for new things. Out tummies are willing us to be daring. Our eyes are becoming more picky, wanting our diet to look, as well as taste, great.

Blame TV shows like MasterChef, celebrity chefs like Nigella, Jamie Oliver, Pete Evans;  blame all the fine restaurants, like Quay, competing for our attention, but, if we're honest, we know we only have ourselves to blame, for more and more of us are turning dull dinners into minor masterpieces. Australians are back in the kitchen and this time, we're loving it!

October is Food Festival month, too, the biggest being Crave: The Sydney International Food Festival running from 1 to 31 October.

There has never been a better moment for Australian foodies. The best of the worlds fare, the best of our own, is at our finger tips.
